I enjoy making complex earth science concepts digestible, specifically petrology and plate tectonics, through chalkboard sketching, classroom and one-on-one discussions with students, and novel analogies that bring geology to the forefront of everyday situations. I have teaching experience in the classroom, lab, and field instructing both undergraduate and graduate students in an assortment of geology sub-disciplines including:

  • Earth Materials/Mineralogy
  • Igneous Petrology
  • Metamorphic Petrology
  • Sedimentary Petrology
  • Structural Geology
  • Plate Tectonics
  • Geo/Petrochronology
  • Mapping & Field Petrology
  • Geochemistry
  • Mass Spectrometry & Analytical Petrology
